Summer Meals
Click here for the free summer meals program for children and teens called "Be Bright, Eat Right Rockdale" (BBERR). RCPS and BOLD Ministries partner to deliver free, healthy, delicious meals for students at neighborhood locations Monday to Thursday during the summer.

Summer Reading
Visit for the optional “Rockdale Reads: Going the Distance” Summer Reading Challenge recommendations and activities.

RVC (Rockdale Virtual Campus) summer 2020 courses

For rising high school juniors and seniors interested in epidemiology, global health, public health, and more. 5-day sessions are June 15-19 & July 20-24, 2020. 2-day sessions are June 22-23, June 25-26, July 6-7, & July 9-10, 2020. Clayton State University Summer Reading and Writing Skills Program

High Museum of Art
FREE art school for students online Fridays 12:00 p.m. –12:30 p.m.
Every Friday at noon, join High Museum staff for a virtual field trip to the High Museum. Each week participants will explore the High Museum’s collection through one of the standards-aligned tour themes. Find the tours that best fit your grade level and interests! For registration, go to

CANCELED: iCan Shine Bike Camp

June 15-10, 2020; orientation for parents/volunteers on June 14, 2020. Ages 8 and up, for riders with a disability who can walk without an assistive device. The iCan Shine Bike program is a safe, fun, proven method that teaches individuals with disabilities how to ride a two-wheel bicycle independently. Riders will attend camp for 75 minutes each day for 5 consecutive days. Riders must be willing and able to wear a helmet, able to side step on both sides, weigh less than 220 lbs., have a minimum inseam of 20" tall (pants leg), attend camp all five days. Volunteer spotters must be able to walk/jog alongside riders, be age 15 and up; non-physical volunteer opportunities also available. Organized by Rockdale County Autism Support Group, Inc. Held at Conyers Middle School, 400 Sigman Road, Conyers, GA. Cost: $200 camp fee/registration. Payable by cash, check, money order, or PayPal.
