Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) is seeking print and/or digital core instructional resources that are not only developed to meet the diverse needs of our students and teachers but also fully aligned with the new Georgia 6-12 English Language Arts Standards (
https://tinyurl.com/yv7rfdfj). This alignment is a fundamental requirement for our selection process.
Our plan is to conduct a thorough and comprehensive learning resource adoption during the 2024-2025 academic year, for implementation during the 2025-2026 academic year. This means that RCPS’s secondary English Language Arts program will not rush into the adoption of the learning resources process. We believe that adequate time is needed to effectively vet learning resources to ensure items are aligned with Georgia’s curriculum vision for 6-12 English Language Arts. As a result, a pilot-to-adoption process may also be considered.
Please complete the Vendor Survey before October 25, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. if your company would like to be considered as a vendor for resources to be reviewed. All vendor responses will be reviewed in October 2024. Any vendor selected to advance will be notified no later than November 1, 2024, and provided with instructions for the next phase.
